2020 Varsity Production "One Small Step"
"One Small Step" was designed in very close collaboration with the Lamar HS color guard director, Midori Eng. Telling the story of human kind's first trip to the moon, this soundtrack used many custom transitional elements to tie each individual phrase together while setting an outer-space-like feel. Though the 2020 WGI season was cut short, Microphonic Designs is proud to have been trusted with the Lamar High School Varsity Guard soundtrack.
LAKE HIGHLANDS

A collection of soundtracks designed and edited for the Lake Highlands High School Colorguard from recent years.
A wide range of production techniques were used to create these tracks, from tempo-shifting to custom transitional sound elements.
FORREST COUNTY AHS
Concise and straightforward, the director at Forrest County Agricultural High School requested three songs to be edited together at specific points with a few custom transitional elements to tie it all together.
COMPOSITION
Music designed for motion.
While not written directly for color guard, these portfolio items were designed specifically to match, and create moments for, visual motion.
JUST BREATH
60-second preshow composed to set the open mood and theme for the 2022 Ocean Lakes Marching Dolphins' field show "Just Breath."
BARRIERS
This 60-second preshow set a tense and dark mood for the Forney High School Band's field show, "Barriers."
