Allen & Heath SQ-7
 
SQ Series digital mixers are built on Allen & Heath’s latest generation 96kHz processing cores, setting a new standard in performance from compact digital mixers. For ensembles with demanding sound reinforcement needs, SQ mixers deliver unparalleled power and audio fidelity.
 
The SQ-7 packs all the power of SQ consoles into a full-size, all metal chassis that fits comfortably in double-wide, or larger, mixer carts. The SQ-7 has tremendous strength and rigidity, built to withstand the most punishing rigors of the marching arts.
 
The center of the SQ’s dashboard is a 7” high-resolution touchscreen. Surrounding the touchscreen are high-grip, illuminating encoders that give clear visual feedback and immediate, hands-on control. Underneath the controls are powerful signal processors and effects; everything an ensemble needs to craft the perfect sound. Each input is equipped with a High Pass Filter, 4-band EQ, and dynamics processors.
 
SQ consoles are armed with 8 stereo effects engines and ships complete with the acclaimed RackExtra effects library, featuring emulations of classic reverbs, delays, modulators and more.
 
The optional SQ MixPad application is also available for free on iOS, Android, Windows and macOS platforms. This software provides offline editing and online wired or wireless control of main mixing functions.
 
For ensembles that need to take advantage of the SQ-7’s full capability, or are thinking of moving to a digital stagebox, the built-in SLink port allows expansion of up to 48 microphone inputs via a family of stage box expanders. Allen & Heath offers an array of stage boxes, giving users the ability to mix-&-match to best suit the needs of their ensemble.
