The AT8035 is a shotgun microphone designed for long-distance sound pickup, making this a top choice for picking up small ensembles or soloists that are located further backfield. It’s design provides excellent sound rejection from the sides and rear of the microphone alongside a switchable low-frequency roll-off for further reducing unwanted sounds.
 
The AT8035 does require +48v Phantom Power to operate, but can also run on batteries to supply its own Phantom Power. A convenient storage case is included alongside a microphone clip and windscreen.
