The Custom Elite Series marching snare drums were designed by Dynasty in collaboration with Paul Rennick, of the University of North Texas, to achieve a warm, articulate sound with supreme durability. 
 
The MS-ZD14 Double Marching Snare is equipped with a wire snare mechanism just underneath the top head in addition to the regular bottom snare wires. The top snare wires add a unique timbre to the full sound of the Custom Elite snare drums and can be switched on or off with a control knob
 
Featuring premium 10-ply, 100% North American Maple shells, each drum is finished by hand at Dynasty's North Texas manufacturing facility. All drum sizes are available in standard wrap, custom wrap, custom lacquer and custom sparkle finish options. Each drum is outfitted with an aluminum reinforcement ring to ensure lifetime shell integrity.
