The Scarlett 2i2 is everything needed to connect a computer-based, single-player synth rig to a larger audio system. Featuring left and right main outputs and a single headphone jack, this interface is perfect for ensembles getting started with using a computer-based synth setup.
 
A large volume dial on the front panel gives easy access to the main output level and the entire device is powered through the USB connection.
 
Use the main left/right outputs to connect to your main audio system with a balanced TRS 1/4” to XLR-M adapter cable, and use the headphone jack to connect to your synth player’s monitor speaker.
 
The two input combo-jacks can be switched between microphone and instrument input levels and can be used to send audio into your live performance software, such as Apple’s MainStage 3 or Ableton Live, for digital processing.
