Our Active Output Panel, AOP for short, is a must-have for any ensemble using active (powered) speakers. This convenient connection panel uses only 1U of rack space and is equipped with four XLR output pass throughs, two PowerCon outlets, an EtherCon pass through for those using digital snake systems, and four rack screws. 
 
The four XLR pass throughs allow for efficient connection of active loudspeakers to a mixer cart. When used with an audio/power combo cable, such as the ProCo EC-5-75, separate signals for the main loudspeakers and subwoofers can be sent to each side of the field using all four pass throughs. 
 
The PowerCon outlets are attached to 4’ power cables on the rear of the panel. Each of those power cables terminates with a standard Edison style plug for use with regular outlets found inside mixer carts or on the back of power conditioners. 
 
The EtherCon pass through is an optional connector and is for ensembles that use a digital snake system. This pass through allows EtherCon cables to be quickly connected to a mixer without having to open the rear doors of a mixer cart. Simply connect an ethernet cable from the back of the pass through to the mixer’s network connector and you’re good to go.
