The On-Stage DB1050 is a passive multimedia direct box that converts any line-level stereo source to a low-impedance mono XLR signal for long cable or snake runs to a mixer or PA system.
The DB1050 is equipped with low-distortion passive circuitry that does not require external power. To prevent audio signal clipping, the DB1050 has a -15dB pad switch that reduces the outbound signal level as well as a ground-lift switch to handle any ground-loop hum that may occur. Throughput connectors allow unaltered signals to be passed to other devices, such as a stage amp. A variety of input connectors, alongside a Hi-Z/XLR input selector, allow convenient use of a variety of different audio sources such as computers, mp3 players, keyboards and more.
The DB1050 is built like a brick with a heavy-duty metal enclosure that can easily handle the rigors of the marching arts, protecting internal components and ensuring reliable performance.
