The On-Stage DB200 is a single-channel (mono) mini-size Direct Box that converts any unbalanced ¼” audio source to balanced XLR signal for long cable or snake runs to a mixer or PA system.
The DB200 is equipped with a gain selection switch that provides +20dB gain to boost weak signals or -20dB reduction to prevent clipping from loud signals. A ground-lift switch eliminates ground-loop hum. The DB200 also includes a cab simulator switch that sends the input signal through an emulated amp enabling the signal to go directly to a mixer without using a physical amp. When not in use, a true-bypass switch removes the circuitry of the pedal from the signal path.
Output signals can be sent to an amp, a mixer, or both with the built-in balanced and unbalanced outputs.
Intended for use with guitar pedal rigs, the DB200 includes hook-and-loop strips for easy mounting on a pedalboard. Its heavy-duty metal enclosure can easily handle the rigors of the marching arts, protecting internal components and ensuring reliable performance.
The DB200 does require a 9V center-negative DC power supply (not included).
