The StudioLive Rackmount mixers are the definition of versatility. The StudioLive 24R, on its own, can function as a standalone 32 channel digital mixer, controlled with PreSonus’ UC Surface remote mixing software. But it can also be used in conjunction with another StudioLive Series III mixer, such as the StudioLive 32SC, as an AVB stage box providing remote inputs and outputs. With 24 inputs, the StudioLive 24R has plenty of connectivity for ensembles using a moderate number of audio channels and its super compact size only requires 2 units of rack space.
 
Should your ensemble gain a few more performers, it can also be paired with the PreSonus NSB stage boxes for extra inputs and outputs, unlocking its full utility as a 32 channel mixer.
 
The StudioLive 24R fits comfortably in any mixer or synth cart that’s equipped with rack space and has enough outputs for any number of speaker configurations. The included effects, powerful audio processing and flexible routing are standard with the StudioLive Series III mixing consoles, giving marching ensembles all the necessary tools to create a great sounding mix.
 
Since the StudioLive 24R is all digital, users have the ability to save mixer settings into scenes that can be recalled at any time. This allows different settings to be loaded throughout a performance with supreme consistency. A single soloist microphone, for example, can accommodate multiple instruments by having different EQ settings and fader positions recalled throughout a performance with the use of scenes.
 
The complimentary control software, UC Surface, is free to download and is available on any device. While this feature does require a separate WiFi network router, it's a breeze to set up and allows you to run rehearsal from the box without having to sprint down to the sideline to make mix adjustments.
