The ULXD4 is a networkable, half-rack wireless receiver designed for use with Shure’s ULX-D® Digital Wireless Systems. ULXD4 units offer high quality 24-bit/48 kHz audio, AES 256-bit encryption, and intelligent RF performance. ULX-D wireless systems are built for the most demanding professional sound reinforcement applications and deliver uncompromising, rock-solid wireless performance. 
 
The front panel is equipped with a push-button control knob for easy menu navigation along with a one-touch IR sync button and gain adjustment buttons that provide  up to 60 additional dB of gain. The LCD screen has adjustable brightness and contrast as well as a lockout feature to prevent unwanted changes. RF and audio LED meters are also located on the front panel for quick and easy reference. 
 
The rear panel has a switchable mic/line XLR output and Ethernet port for networking with other ULXD4 receivers.
 
Among the many features packed into the ULXD4 is Intelligent Scanning, which helps ensure the best possible performance quality by automatically finding and assigning the best available frequency. Interference alerts are provided on both the ULXD4 and Wireless Workbench 6. Setup across multiple receiver units is very quick and easy with the built in Ethernet networking port. 
 
The ULXD4 is road-ready thanks to its rugged metal chassis.
