The Yamaha TIO1608-D is a plug-&-play rack mount stage box, also known as a digital snake, designed for use with the TF Series mixing consoles. Each unit is equipped with 16 microphone/line inputs and 8 line outputs, giving users very flexible I/O options.
 
TIO1608-D stage boxes connect to TF Series mixers with an Ethernet or EtherCon cable using the Dante digital audio networking protocol. Multiple units can be used together to give a full set of 32 inputs for any TF Series mixer.
 
The rugged metal chassis is equipped with adjustable rack-ears that can recess the unit into a rack space, allowing extra room for any cables that may need to remain connected; Perfect for tight spaces, such as the inside of an enclosed mixer or synth cart with removable front panels.
 
IMPORTANT: To use a TIO1608-D stage box with a TF Series mixer, the NY64-D Dante slot card must be purchased separately and installed to the TF Series Mixer.
